The Illinois State Police and the FBI tell AMW that Nicholas T. Sheley, a man who they say was in the midst of a brutal killing spree, is in police custody. Sheley, who is a suspect in at least eight homicides, has been arrested in Granite City, Ill. about ten miles from St. Louis, Mo.
